Ideas & Insights
Our blog is where we share our ideas and insights into the digital world.
After a huge silence of almost 10 months since October 2016, Google finally rolled out an algorithm update on 25th June lasting for six or more days. Though, there were few unconfirmed updates in between but this one looks huge and lots of webmasters are noticing huge changes in Google organic traffic and rankings, positive and negative.
After huge ranking fluctuations, SEO world was waiting to hear it from Google in expectation of some new introduction to the penalty world. However, Google did not confirm anything as John Mueller from Google said that “we make changes almost every day” and tweeted the following;

The update mostly targeted the sites ranking between 6-10 positions and did less damage to the top 5 spots. So, the SEO world is slightly muted as compared to the previous updates. It is rare to see ranking changes down the fold or in the lower sections of SERP which do not damage the top slots.
As we, at Aidem Media, use updated and pure white hat techniques to optimise client sites, the recent Google algorithm update resulted in a great boost to our clients’ rankings. We implement SEO best practices to achieve Google penalty proof rankings with long term sustainability. Following are few screenshots of ranking boost we got during the Google Algorithm Update;
The update looks huge and is affecting a lot of change in the rankings and traffic. The main victims were the sites positioned between 6-10 position. The webmaster world looks quiet amidst the big disturbance in automated ranking tools.
